Traditional Tibetan food is simple and hearty with pretty basic flavors (staples include barley flour, roasted meat, noodle soups), but contemporary Tibetan food is influenced by a variety of cuisines such as Indian and Chinese. This Tibetan food blog was started by the former owner of a successful Tibetan restaurant in New York City. It’s hard to find reliable recipes for Tibetan food online, and although this site has only a few recipes, they are detailed and include pictures.
